Haley Limper and Hailey Winslow will receive our Springfield Noon Lions Foundation scholarships this year
Haley Limper should be familiar to the Noon Lions, as she has been a past recipient of our scholarship. A 2015 graduate of Lutheran High School, Haley attended the University of Southern Indiana and was a member of the volleyball team. She is now enrolled in a graduate program at Indiana State University, seeking a degree in occupational therapy with a low vision certification. In her free time, she volunteers at the Active Day Adult Day Center, Indiana Special Olympics, and Night to Shine Special Needs Prom.
Hailey Winslow is a 2020 graduate of Glenwood High School. She will be a sophomore at Southeast Missouri State University, where she majors in biochemistry and is a member of the Honors Program. Inspired by her younger sister’s vision loss, Hailey plans to become a pediatric optometrist. Hailey has a demonstrated a strong commitment to volunteerism through her work with the Mini-O’Beirne Crisis Nursery and Chatham Area Library, as well as serving on Mayor Langfelder’s City Youth Council and as a member of the 2018 Youth Trip to Washington.
