December 1, 2015 meeting
The meeting was held at the Golden Corral with 27 members and two guests present. The guests were Dave and Dee Martin who are friends of Limey Nargelenas. Dave and Dee both made application to become new members. Way to go Limey !!! President Limey Nargelenas thanked Marne Fauser for all she has done for our fundraising efforts including last Tuesday’s dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Dan Yuhas gave a report on the golf outing and encourages people to volunteer to be on the committee. The golf outing is scheduled June 21 at Piper Glen. Tail Twister Larry Werline fined Jerry Gardner, Mike Fishel, Nick Appelbaum, Delmar Buske, Dean Paisley and Dale Diamond. Dale Diamond drew the names of the December raffle winners. The large $1,000 prize went to Parker Johnson. There wasn’t a scheduled speaker due to the fact this was a business meeting. Joe Brockamp gave the club and update on the financial status of the club.
 
December 8, 2015 meeting
The meeting was held at the Golden Corral with 21 members and one guest present. The guest was Dave Martin’s brother-in-law Jim Johnson. President Frankenstein advised the club that there won’t be a meeting next Tuesday due to the Christmas Party at Bella Milano at 6:00. Dan Yuhas asked that anyone interested in the golf outing committee show up at his home at 6:00 PM on December 20th to help sign letters to the previous sponsors. Tail Twister Larry Werline fined Joe Brockamp, Ed Cunningham, Ron Wenger, Paul Anthony and Craig Drone. Lion of the Day was Steve Frankenstein who introduced our speaker Fletcher Farrar Jr. Fletcher is the owner & editor of the Illinois Times and Springfield Business Journal. Fletcher talked about the history of the Illinois Times. The 50/50 was won by Paul Anthony.
 
December 22, 2015 meeting
The meeting was held at the Golden Corral with 19 members and eight guests.  The guests were Limey Nargelenas grandson Gavin, Jerry Curry’s daughter Anna, Mitch Murdock’s granddaughter Sydney, Dale Diamond & Larry Bunting’s granddaughters Sydney and Makaela, Larry Bunting’s wife Charlotte and Rod and Jeremy Matticks. P resident Nargelenas advised the club that we have sent out reminders about our Lion’s golf outing.  President Nargelenas thanked Larry & Rita Werline and Jamie Leslie for planned a wonderful Christmas party last Tuesday.  Tail Twister Larry Werline had the Christmas spirit and didn’t fine anyone and passed around presents to all.  Lion of the Day was Steve Frankenstein who introduced our speaker Maria Matticks.  Maria is director of Twelve Baskets Full, Inc.  This company collected unused medications and sends them with mission trips to third world countries.  The 50/50 was won by Steve Frankenstein.
 
December 29, 2015 meeting
The meeting was held at the Golden Corral with 26 members and one guest present.  The guest was our speaker Amy Richards’ daughter Sydney. Vice President Larry Bunting conducted the meeting in the absence of President Limey Nargelenas.  Dan Yuhas gave a brief update on the progress of the golf outing preparation.  Dale Diamond informed the club that we have sold somewhere around 800 calendars and calendar sales will continue through January.  Tail Twister Larry Werline fined Mickey McDaniel, Gail Day and Barry Schillinger.  Lion of the Day was Steve Frankenstein who introduced our speaker Amy Richards.  Amy is director of Audibel in Springfield.  Amy talked to us about hearing loss and the different causes. The 50/50 was won by Bill Maxey.
